What do you like about being Latina?

I love how social and warm we are. We have the rhythm to dance everything. We love to interact with different types of people and enjoy, in my case, the Latin traditions of both Mexico and elsewhere.

What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?
I was a basketball player for 9 years and I practiced taekwondo for 6. I also have a bachelors in Communication Sciences and I have my own company.
What are your favorite colors and outfits that make up most of your closet?

Black is the most elegant color to wear. I love jumpers or bodysuits, but sometimes I also take the risk with bright colors.

What trends are big in your city?

The fashion week was a month ago and new trends of the most recognized Mexican designers could be seen. There are metal, cakes, ultra-elegant dresses, urban clothes, etc.

What is your favorite brand/designer? What do you like about that brand?

My favorite mexican designers are Kris Goyri, Lorena Saravia, Gianfranco Reni. Oscar de la Renta and Carolina Herrera, Ángel Sánchez, Jorge Duque, among many others.

Which actresses or models do you believe have the best style?

Nicole Kidman is always so elege and I love the style of Milla Jovovich.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years and what are your goals?

I hope to have different franchises of my business, Gaspachon, I also want to enjoy my family and friends. If modeling reminds in my life, I will continue doing it with the same joy and passion as always.

First, my hair, my style and how I model in front of the cameras.

The colors that abound in my wardrobe are black, white and gold.

What trends are big in your city?

In my city, elegance is not primordial, we are a bit more casual, since it is a small town in Cuba.

One of my favorite brands is Gucci by Guccio Gucci, Calvin Klein and Versace.

What do you like about being Latina?

Among all the great qualities and characteristics in the Latino community, the thing I love the most is our culture and heritage! It is so vibrant and deep. Being a Latina means we carry that energy and optimism wherever we go! Being able to carry this identity and traits are truly a blessing.

What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?
People would be surprised to know that I am majoring in two Bachelor degrees, at two different Universities, at the same time! I swear I am more than what you get on social media, and quite of an introvert in person too! I am majoring in Accounting and Business Communications at University of Puerto Rico and in Exercise of Science and Health Promotion in University of Sagrado Corazón. Reading and learning are one of my favorite things! I believe education is a universal key and I love both areas, so why not both?!


What are your favorite colors and outfits that make up most of your closet?

My favorite colors are definitely spring tones! I love wearing basic pieces, layering them and giving it a little sparkle with some makeup, heels, purse and great accessories from @Sweetlemon_PR. My favorite Go to brands right now are from @LaGlorianaBtq and @Sweetlemon_PR.

What trends are big in your city?

Here in Puerto Rico, it is ALWAYS summer! That is why even in fall, we have Caribbean touches to our wardrobe. We wear cute hats, boots and trendy items that go along with our Caribbean weather but keep us fashion ready!

What is your favorite brand/designer? What do you like about that brand?

My favorite designers would have to be 3! I just CANNOT choose! I admire @CouvertierMyrna since I was in my teenage years. Her daughter @EstelaCouvertier is a young entrepreneur who definitely deserves to be on the spotlight too! Also, @Jocelyn_DelgadoPR has always supported me and allowed me to be part of amazing collections. They truly are all my favorites in the industry.

Which actresses or models do you believe have the best style?

I ADORE Zendaya! I even met her once in person and she is the most kind and humble person, I swear! Anything she wears just makes a fashion trend! She is a great example that it is not just about what/who you wear, it’s all about how you wear it and confidence is the key!

Where do you see yourself in 5 years and what are your goals?

Five years from now, I see myself being a Motivational Speaker and also giving back to the community through my brand: FitWays by Raishmar Carrillo. Ever since I entered the Miss Puerto Rico Petite Beauty Pageant, I realized the power of social media to share my voice and my story to make a difference in other people’s lives. I believe in giving back to where I come from, and my life purpose is to use the tools I have to motivate and help foster care kids and society in general.

What do you like about being Latina?

What I like the most about being Latina is our unique culture, in Puerto Rico and worldwide.

What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?
What people would be surprised to know about me is that I am a young woman capable of doing everything to give love and hope to others.


What are your favorite colors and outfits that make up most of your closet?

The color and the sets that make up most of my closet is blue. I love to dress with a lot of layers.

If we had 24 hours in your city, where would you take us?

People love to visit the Hipódromo Camarero. There is also the house of the first native governor of Puerto Rico, elected by the people, named Jesús T. Piñero. One of the largest sugar factories in Puerto Rico was in Canovanas, which was called Central Azucarera. You can also find the mall called the Outlets of Canóvanas.

What is your favorite brand/designer? What do you like about that brand?

My favorite designer brand is Playero. This brand is created in Puerto Rico. I love the style that distinguishes our Puerto Rican beaches and water sports.

I have two favorite models, Zuleyka Rivera from Puerto Rico and Clarissa Molina from the Dominican Republic. Both are strong women and send a great message to society.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years and what are your goals?

In 5 years I see myself as a Therapist specialized in special Education or Psychiatry. I also want to work in media to send good messages to the youth. Finally, I want to create a non-profit foundation to share love and hope to society.

What do you like about being Latina?

Everything about being Latina makes me proud. Our country is known for all its rich history and culture that surrounds us as much as it’s beautiful traditions. The love, the warmth and unity that we have towards each other is something that would distinguish the Latin population and that is shown within our families, the most important social core in our culture. The joy and passion of our society is reflected in the bigger traditions, delicious foods and its various styles of music, within all other things. I love it when someone thinks about the personality of a Latin person, they see us and think of our optimistic qualities, bravery, joy and know that we truly know how to enjoy life and a great party.




What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?
Perhaps you would be surprised to know that I am a little antisocial or that at least I don’t make friends that easily for having very little trust in others for things that have happened in my past, which doesn't mean that it is hard for me to have a conversation with someone new, only including them in my circle of friends would take some time.
What are your favorite colors and outfits that make up most of your closet?

I definitely don’t have a favorite color, I love all colors, nevertheless I do have my preferred colors for certain things, for example I love the color gold and rose gold for accessories. For clothing I use reds, yellows, vibrant greens, or even softer and neutral colors like a beige, white, blue and black. I love to play with colors and prints on my outfits, it is something in which I feel that I can express my personality or feelings.

What is your city famous for?

A strong tendency that I personally love, is using layers of necklaces. I feel that it is a beautiful detail, that is delicate but yet striking and can make a simple outfit something more produced and original.

What is your favorite brand/designer? What do you like about that brand?

It is a little difficult to decide, but I think that Versace, Chanel, Gucci and Prada would definitely be my favorite brands, simply because of the creativity, vision and originality that is shown in their designs, colors, prints and textures, those which allow you to enjoy and express your personality through your clothing.

Which actresses or models do you believe have the best style?

Someone that I admire for their style and personality is Leonie Hanne, she is a fashion and travel influencer, I love that she always knows the latest trends in fashion and can adjust it to her style, including that she can make a simple outfit look very good. Another person that inspires me is Negin Mirsalehi who is a model and influencer, I like her style and the range of soft colors that she will often utilize in her look. Lastly, but not less important is fashion blogger Lydia Rose which I love for her creativity and for having the pleasure of sharing thousands of ways on how to use the latest trends and can make each look amazing and different. I love her style and way of putting colors, prints, and textures together, creating outfits for certain occasions.

 

Where do you see yourself in 5 years and what are your goals?

I don’t know exactly where or what I will be doing in that time, but I do have my goals that I wish I would have accomplished or to at least be in the process of accomplishing them by that time. I would love to do something related to fashion, whether it be opening my own store where I can share my taste, knowledge, and vision for fashion, and continue posting more content on my social media that would inspire the feeling of being involved in the world of fashion. I would also like to travel more with my boyfriend and share our experiences fomenting tourism and show him my support on growing his new YouTube channel. I want to continue getting to know myself, learning from my mistakes so that I can really do what I like and grow as a person, but overall regardless the situation, the years or age…being happy and thankful for life itself.

What do you like about being Latina?

I would say i love the most about being Latina is the foremost is the affection, the charisma and the respect we always carry with ourselves. Another of the things that I love being Latino, is our food, how easy it is for us to make new friends , our varied music and the most important thing is that we have a lot of pride and passion for what we are.

I really consider myself a transparent person and would always show me just as I am

I love rose pink, white, black and yellow gold. I love having jackets, blazers and dresses.

What trends are big in your city?

I live in Houston so in general it would be an urban and country style at the same time. It also depends on the weather because it changes a lot, so I would say that depending on the climate we are going through, I would use the appropriate outfit.

I don’t have a favoritism as such in designers but, I can say that I love pretty and elegant simple clothes like Carolina Herrera and Jessica Simpson.

What do you like about being Latina?

We have well defined values and a strong sense of sisterhood. Latinas have the capacity to be resilient and rise up against any adversity. We do things with passion and we make a positive impact everywhere we go. Not only are we beautiful, but we are intelligent, we fight for what we believe in, and are proud of our heritage. 

What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?
When I was 7 years old I starred in my own tv show in Puerto Rico, called “Mi Pequeño Músico.” It was aimed at children so they could learn about different types of music and dances, and their importance in our culture. 
What are your favorite colors and outfits that make up most of your closet?

I love bright colors, such as yellow and magenta. Colors that make you stand out and smile! My closet is full of colorful dresses, jeans and shirts I’ve acquired during my travels. I love traveling and I always get shirts to remember all of the places I’ve visited and learned from. 

What trends are big in your city?

At the moment, big earrings are trending in Puerto Rico. Earrings with tropical vibes that reflect my island’s culture and our beautiful landscape. That is why I have partnered with a talented jewelry designer in Puerto Rico, Mónica Martinez, to model her M3 Collection and showcase her talent and designs in various events. 

What is your favorite brand/designer? What do you like about that brand?

My favorite designers are Shirley Krifter and Sonia Rivera. They are designers that have made their mark in Puerto Rico’s fashion industry and bring to life designs that are representative of the purpose driven woman. I worked with them during my time as Miss San Sebastián Petite and I will always be grateful to them, as their designs were a reflection of my personality and made me feel like a true queen.

Jennifer Lopez and Dayanara Torres are at the top of my list. Through their elegant, classic, and unique styles they have inspired Latina women all over the world. They are able to reflect their confidence and empowerment in their fashion and that is something I aspire to do as well.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years and what are your goals?

In 5 years I see myself having a perfect balance between my personal and professional life. Succeeding at my career as an entertainment lawyer that represents Latin American talent and establishing my own non-profit organization that offers scholarships to students and promotes education. Above all, I want to enjoy every moment of my life, spend time with my family and friends, and keep sharing my knowledge with others.

“El calor humano”, nuestro idioma, la comida,la gente, la cultura, la musica. The Hispanic culture is unique, authentic and like no other.

What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?

I was titled Miss Yuma County USA and I will BE COMPETING in Miss Arizona USA in January, representing my beautiful county and the Latino community.

My favorite color is black , I believe you can’t go wrong with black for any occasions. I love two piece sets , they make my live much easier and less stressful

PA big trend on my city is anything that is floral, whether is in dresses , pants, blues or sets.

I always try to dress myself with what I like not just because its trendy or follow my instinct. I do not have a specific store or designer, I only look at something and created a outfit in my mind.

I love Dua Lipa style, she is so unique in everything she wears and that is what makes her stand out from the rest of the celebrities.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years and what are your goals?

In five years I hope to live a happy & a healthy life. A simple life filled with true contentment. I hope to secure myself a career that challenges me to do better in life and one that allows me to create a lasting impact on the lives of others. I hope to repay my parents with hundred folds of basically EVERYTHING that they've offered me during my upbringing. I hope to take them around the world and treat them to all the wonderful places that they truly deserve visiting. I hope to be a blessing to my family and friends and to all my loved ones around me. I hope to continue learning new things every step of the way , and continuing gaining all the great experiences that this world has to offer . I hope to live a life that not only would allow me to have a fulfilling one but one that would allow me to help others live a great life of their own. All in all , I hope to live a good and a meaningful life in general. But for now, I guess I'll just try to live in the moment and hustle towards attaining these above mentioned dreams.

What do you like about being Latina?

When people think of Latina’s woman probably associate with curves, beauty and sensuality, but I think means more than that. I love being a Latina because we are charismatic people, friendly, intelligent, fighters and cheerful, we are probably always smiling. I’m also fascinated about our culture.

What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?

I actually prefer to stay at home watching movies, reading or be with friends rather than going out.


What are your favorite colors and outfits that make up most of your closet?

My favorites are earth colors to get dressed. I feel so boho-chic, I wear a lot of heels, short skirts and Jewelry.

Maybe all summer trends.

Christian Dior. I like it because it enhances the feminine beauty, it is elegant and suit a range of woman, whether you're younger and carefree, preferring the pastel colors.
