What do you like about being Latina?
Studies show that Latinos are the friendliest people in the world, I love making friends. Connect with people who are as creative as me. Being Latina gives you that spark, that touch and that happiness that characterizes us.
What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?
When I was a girl I was raised by my grandparents. My education was strict, I spent much of my childhood in church, I was not allowed to have friends and my way of dressing was controlled by my grandmother.
What are your favorite colors and outfits that make up most of your closet?
I adore white, it is always present in most of my outfits, it is the most elegant color, I love to wear it in classic shirts, palazzo pants and a white princess cut dresses. Those pieces are always in my closet.
What trends are big in your city?
We have an eternal summer here in Venezuela, I would say that the art of prints is always in trend for all tastes and for all occasions so wherever you look, you will find prints!
What is your favorite brand/designer? What do you like about that brand?
As a fashion designer, I have to say that my brand is special for me, because it is my way of expressing what I visualize as feminine. There are many designers who have my admiration and respect in this industry impossible to choose one. They are an important part of my inspiration when it comes to creating either an outfit or a garment.
Which actresses or models do you believe have the best style?
My top 3:
Diane Kruger, has a unique style and does not hire stylists so it is a double merit. Her style is personal, and unique.
Emma stone one of the best dressed actresses of our time.
And of course in my top is my admired Anna Wintour, few women have such an iconic style.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years and what are your goals?
My goal is to be able to unify and bring to life all my knowledge in the fashion industry as a whole. From designing, making and dressing a piece, fashion is an art and that is what I try to express through my social media.My brand not only wants to make clothes, it wants to give life to fashion, to teach women to have fun with it and to feel confident about themselves. In 5 years I would like to be in this industry not only as a designer but also as an image consultant, helping women to feel confident and secure with whatever they are wearing.
