What do you like about being Latina?
The flavor and the swing that we put to life. How passionate and happy we are when dancing. And how to forget the entrepreneurial spirit that we all have. Latinos are able to adapt and build empires away from home.
What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?
I have my own line of swimsuits, called Luimar Swimwear.
What are your favorite colors and outfits that make up most of your closet?
The basic blacks, are indispensable for my life of castings, garments in denim, to show off an urban and fresh look, many swimsuits for a getaway to the beach, and jackets for cold weather here in Mexico.
What trends are big in your city?
Although we are still in winter, the city is already preparing for summer, shorts are quite trendy. Prints are everywhere, snake print, animal print, we can see it from swimsuits on the beach, to a total look in a club. Garments in rainbows, multicolored dresses, ideal for those who want to combine more than one color. Total look in red, yellow and blue tones..
What is your favorite brand/designer? What do you like about that brand?
Channel, definitely the legacy left by Coco Chanel, I like the way she represents fashion, creating new looks and a new lifestyle for women, she marked a line, liberating women.
love how she transformed white and black into elegant colors, she represents femininity through her accessories and perfumes, the basic accessory that complements every look.
Which actresses or models do you believe have the best style?
Kendall Jenner, is a girl with a fresh and natural beauty, her outfits ranging from discrete to very risky.
Olivia Palermo, the it girl with her most iconic street styles. Always looking completely fabulous.
Blake Lively, always wears beautiful and unusual costumes.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years and what are your goals?
I see myself consolidating my brand of swimsuits www.Luimarswimwear.com at the Mexico level.
I see myself as a model, actress and TV host.
My biggest goal is to have a happy and peaceful life, guided by God and my dreams.
