What do you like about being Latina?
Being able to enjoy all the culture and traditions that I live in my country, I believe that what most represents the Latino community is an atmosphere of celebration, joy, solidarity and love. Every Latin American country that you go, no matter if it is not the one of your origin, they will receive you as if you were at home, with a celebration.
What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?
I am 21 years old and I have never consumed alcohol! When I go to a party and I say no when they offer me a drink they can't believe it!
What are your favorite colors and outfits that make up most of your closet?
I have more monochromatic sets, black and white or total white are the colors that I like the most in my outfits, whether in cocktail dresses, jumpsuits or dress pants.
What trends are big in your city?
The jumpsuits and stilettos are very fashionable, usually looking for cooler clothes since Colima is a city with a very warm climate and now that summer is coming, even more, so the fabrics are very light and the shoes open.
What is your favorite brand/designer? What do you like about that brand?
Versace dresses on red carpets always get my attention, but since I am a follower of beauty pageants, Michael Cinco dresses are always surprising and unique.
Which actresses or models do you believe have the best style?
I am a big fan of Zendaya’s style, Lily Collins and Pia Wurtzbach, their elegant and classic styles always come with a touch of sensuality, and that fascinates me and inspires me to wear beautiful outfits.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years and what are your goals?
I am participating to have the opportunity to represent my country in Miss Universe, so in 5 years I see myself as the third Miss Mexican universe, with my own organization of young volunteers in my country and finishing my medical specialty in dermatology. Since my goal is to be an intellectual women, that contributes to improve the lives of other people and that can represent Mexico with dignity at a global scale.
