What do you like about being Latina?

First, I love our culture. Latin culture is characterized by being traditional, familiar, and joyful. Second, Latin food is the best, no matter the country, Latin food is amazing. Third, have you seen Latin women? Gorgeous, strong women plus we are very independent and self-driven individuals. We work hard for our dreams.

What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?
I used to play soccer until three years ago I tore both my ACL and PCL. I spent about two and a half years recovering in physical therapy. A part of my knee still feels numb, and I’ll probably never feel it again. (No worries though, I can walk, I can run, I'll probably never play soccer again, but I'm happy and that's all that matters!)

What are your favorite colors and outfits that make up most of your closet?

This will not come as a surprise; the color that makes most up of my closet is pink (of course!), white and nudes. It tends to be more colorful during the summer season.

What trends are big in your city?

Living in Savannah I was able to tell that women love wearing dresses, and I love dresses. I would wear them every day if I could! So, dresses are a very popular style in Savannah (I can see why after spending my first summer here, it can get really warm!)

What is your favorite brand/designer? What do you like about that brand?

One of the brands that I love is Gucci. I'm currently working towards a collection of Gucci bags.. (just kidding-haha, but I wish though). I love Gucci, the colors, the bags, and its colorful and sophisticated style. Gucci accessories are go-to's to give your outfit that POP!– if you know what I mean. I love it!

My favorite designer... There are plenty of amazing and very talented designers setting the game in the fashion industry. I've been asked this before, and to be honest I don't have a favorite. I love any designer who can take my breath away through their collection, and who can make me fall in love with the industry even more. Now, If I were given the chance to pick a designer for my wedding dress, I would pick (no hesitation) the house of Christian Dior.

Which actresses or models do you believe have the best style?

I love Olivia Culpo, she has a great sense of style and she always looks so fierce. Also, I love Camila Coelho; she is my biggest inspiration and mainly the reason why I started blogging a year ago. Also, I love Julia Hengel from Gal Meets Glam for her feminine and classy style. She is very delicate and simple when styling her outfits. The human representation of "less is more". I'm loving her new collection of dresses, have you seen them?

Where do you see yourself in 5 years and what are your goals?

In five years I see myself still working on growing The Pink and Petite, my fashion and lifestyle blog. I love the way Instagram connects people all over the world and is building a community where I can share my love for fashion and where my content and lifestyle resonates with other beautiful women out there is something I definitely see myself working on. My biggest goals are to be able to grow The Pink and Petite to an extent where I can launch my own fashion brand. Also, being able to connect with people and inspire women to be the best version of themselves they can possibly be. I’d love to spread awareness on topics such as self-love because we live in a world where, as technology advances, we become more vulnerable to other peoples way of thinking and being. That being said, not everyone has the best intentions nor the kindest thoughts, so it makes us more vulnerable in a sense where it's easy to be victims of bullying. So, self-love and awareness is an important topic to speak about and to learn about. It’s not only a dialogue but also a lifestyle and a way of seeing ourselves from the inside and out. I feel it's important to grow stronger as human beings and to raise stronger and confident women as we advance into a more open-minded and critical society.
