Where I currently live, the trend is classy outfits, but in Venezuela people dress according to what is trending.

I love all European brands, the elegance of Salvatore Ferragamo, Gucci, Prada, but I also like the style of Zara, Bershka and Carolina Herrera.

Which actresses or models do you believe have the best style?

Paulina Vega, miss universe, and Dakota Johnson because I love the simplicity of her style, she’s a natural beauty.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years and what are your goals?

I see myself as a businesswoman and stylist; having a balance in mind and spirit.

My goals in the next 5 years are to live in Los Angeles California and work in the largest model company.

Among all the great qualities and characteristics in the Latino community, the thing I love the most is our culture and heritage! It is so vibrant and deep. Being a Latina means we carry that energy and optimism wherever we go! Being able to carry this identity and traits are truly a blessing.

What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?

People would be surprised to know that I am majoring in two Bachelor degrees, at two different Universities, at the same time! I swear I am more than what you get on social media, and quite of an introvert in person too! I am majoring in Accounting and Business Communications at University of Puerto Rico and in Exercise of Science and Health Promotion in University of Sagrado Corazón. Reading and learning are one of my favorite things! I believe education is a universal key and I love both areas, so why not both?!

What are your favorite colors and outfits that make up most of your closet?

My favorite colors are definitely spring tones! I love wearing basic pieces, layering them and giving it a little sparkle with some makeup, heels, purse and great accessories from @Sweetlemon_PR. My favorite Go to brands right now are from @LaGlorianaBtq and @Sweetlemon_PR.

What trends are big in your city?

Here in Puerto Rico, it is ALWAYS summer! That is why even in fall, we have Caribbean touches to our wardrobe. We wear cute hats, boots and trendy items that go along with our Caribbean weather but keep us fashion ready!

What is your favorite brand/designer? What do you like about that brand?

My favorite designers would have to be 3! I just CANNOT choose! I admire @CouvertierMyrna since I was in my teenage years. Her daughter @EstelaCouvertier is a young entrepreneur who definitely deserves to be on the spotlight too! Also, @Jocelyn_DelgadoPR has always supported me and allowed me to be part of amazing collections. They truly are all my favorites in the industry.

Which actresses or models do you believe have the best style?

I ADORE Zendaya! I even met her once in person and she is the most kind and humble person, I swear! Anything she wears just makes a fashion trend! She is a great example that it is not just about what/who you wear, it’s all about how you wear it and confidence is the key!

Where do you see yourself in 5 years and what are your goals?

Five years from now, I see myself being a Motivational Speaker and also giving back to the community through my brand: FitWays by Raishmar Carrillo. Ever since I entered the Miss Puerto Rico Petite Beauty Pageant, I realized the power of social media to share my voice and my story to make a difference in other people’s lives. I believe in giving back to where I come from, and my life purpose is to use the tools I have to motivate and help foster care kids and society in general.

What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?

The image one presents to the world is determined by actions, comments, attitudes, behavior and also appearance. These things are perceived within the first seconds of the encounter with a person. So ... How to let others see the kind of person you really are? How to do to impress someone without exaggerated gestures or without having too much time? These 30 things can be simple, but they have a great impact. Its effects are lasting. People will remember the little things you do and those are the ones that can make the difference you are looking for.

What are your favorite colors and outfits that make up most of your closet?

I do not have a specific color but I really like black I like elegant and modern looks.

What trends are big in your city?

The modern looks.

I really like the Zara brand all their style is my favorite.

What do you like about being Latina?

Well, I'm Spanish, but as I say, we Spaniards have Latin blood. In Miss Continentes Unidos I always joined Latinas and they considered me one more, when they referred to Europeans they always said: Spain is Latina!

What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?

Mmmm then my two worlds totally opposite. On the one hand I love fashion and I work as a model from the age of 16 and on the other hand, education. I have just finished my university career in primary education and now I am studying my options. They are two completely different worlds but as I say I am very chameleonic. I change a lot from a catwalk to a class.

What are your favorite colors and outfits that make up most of your closet?

I love black for both summer and winter. Although I use a lot of white in summer.

What trends are big in your city?

Referring to the theme of fashion within the social sphere, I am extremely proud to say that my city, Seville, is a leader in this subject within Spain. Sevillanas have been cataloged countless times for being the best dressed in the whole country.

What is your favorite brand/designer? What do you like about that brand?

In a low cost market I'm a super fan of Zara, but I love brands like Channel, Louis Vuitton or Manolo Blahnik. My favorite designer is Coco Chanel

Which actresses or models do you believe have the best style?

I love Blanca Suarez since she began her career.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years and what are your goals?

My dream is to change the education of my country. So I hope I become an education minister in my country.

I love everything! The music, food, dancing, and culture. I’m a very upbeat, passionate, and hard-working person. I don’t think I would be this way if it weren’t for my Latin roots.

What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?

Besides being a proud Latina, I love Asian culture. I read manga on my free time and listen to Japanese music.

What are your favorite colors and outfits that make up most of your closet?

I love all the colors of the rainbow except pink. But my favorite most of all is blue and green. For now, black and white outfits make up most of my closet.

What trends are big in your city?

Fanny packs, 90's style, urban style, and thrift shopping.

What is your favorite brand/designer? What do you like about that brand?

My favorite brand is Jen Zeano Designs. I like this brand because they support and empower Latinas and women. For example, some of their shirts say “Poderosa”, “Mujer Exitosa” or “Latina Power”. I always get compliments or attention from wearing their brand and it makes me feel confident.

Which actresses or models do you believe have the best style?

Hands down I would say Rihanna has the best style. Also, a lot of my inspiration in style comes from models Dytto and Justine Mae Biticon.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years and what are your goals?

In 5 years, I see myself moving to New York and graduating college. My goal is to work part time as model/dancer/actress and work as a full time Director for a business.

What do you like about being Latina?

Being Latina has a greater meaning than I believed, being Latina means never forgetting your roots. I love the food, the people, every corner of it, even the smell of my country. We have the most beautiful traditions that unfortunately have been devalued. Being Latino means giving your hand without receiving something back.

What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?

I have a year that I support people with addictions or emotional problems, without a doubt it has been the best thing that has happened to me. I have learned that you can always get ahead and life is easier than we think, with love and faith everything is possible.
