Going for the first time to New York Fashion Week is like a dream come true to me, and preparing for this trip has been the most exciting experience. I have never been so excited to pack my suitcase but to get there it took weeks to look for the perfect looks.
I’m going from the 10th to the 13th so I need four perfect looks plus something extra if I go out at night. From head to toe it is all about details. The style I go for is elegant, and simple. I am going to play with leather and of course fur and wool are perfect for this season.
The color palette I picked for this time is basic, black, white and nude, and a splash of peach and pink. I’m also thinking of adding some red to it.

Getting into the show for fashion week was not the easiest job. I had to create a template to email PR, be aware of every designer collection and send as much emails as possible, as well as have to organize my agenda because there are so many presentations and shows one after the other and you don’t want to miss any so you got to sit down and be saavy with Google maps and track where each event is going to be located.
I got invited to a couple of shows, but I’m still dreaming about getting into one of the big designer shows. My favorites for sure are my Latin American inspiration Oscar de la Renta and Carolina Herrera.
