What do you like about being Latina?

I love having the opportunity to get a mix of both American and Hispanic cultures. I love how my culture is so extroverted, happy, and friendly. I believe that beauty is more about your attitude towards life than your physical apprearance itself, and that’s something I love about being Latina.

What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?

I am an immigrant in this country and I had to learn a new language and culture in which I have adapted to perfectly.

What are your favorite colors and outfits that make up most of your closet?

My clothes are generally dark; but the main colors in my closet are black, white and red wine.

What trends are big in your city?

In New York everything is possible, you can wear anything you want and you won’t be judged. New York has many styles and different cultures that make a perfect environment.

What is your favorite brand/designer? What do you like about that brand?

I don’t have a favorite brand. I like whatever fits my body well; however when it comes to shoes and bags I love Steve Madden, Kate Spade and Coach.

Which actresses or models do you believe have the best style?

I believe that everything is about the flow. My favorite stars are Cara Delevingne, Winnie Harlow and Camilla Cohelo.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years and what are your goals?

I am trying to disrupt the beauty industry. I believe everyone is beautiful in their own way; but in my case, I would like to be one of the first models to break the stigma of short height.

What do you like about being Latina?

One of the two major reasons I love about being Latina has to include the culture of course! Mexican food is incomparable; we make the best tortillas, guacamole, and raspas! Secondly, I love that outside the Rio Grande Valley, to be a Latina means that you are a minority, which isn’t a bad thing. I take it as representing a larger part of my people. This makes me stand out, giving me the upper hand to be heard when speaking on behalf of the Latino community.

What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?

Something people may be surprised to hear about me is my upbringing. Throughout my childhood I was shuffled between family members due to the decisions made by my parents, resulting in an unstable home. I was exposed to graphic and unsettling environments while altogether getting bullied and ridiculed at school for two main reasons— not having money to fix my broken front tooth and for my muscular “manly” build. Years later I found the strength to persevere past these uncontrollable obstacles that shattered my self image and developed a passion for success, as well as a voice. Once I broke that barrier, I became unbreakable.

What are your favorite colors and outfits that make up most of your closet?

My favorite pieces to wear include skirts and dresses! The colors that make up my closet largely include pinks, reds, and yellows; When I’m having a bad day, yellow helps brighten my mood.

What trends are big in your city?

The thing about where I live is that sometimes it can be hard to style because it’s literally hell’s capital. The heat here is UNREAL. Because of this, most popular styles include shorts, two piece top/shorts/skirt sets and lots of crop/bralette tops. Every time I wear jeans during the day, I regret it!However, there are many fashion influencers in the area so thankfully it’s not a typical laid back attire (athletic shorts with the basic over sized tee). Espadrilles and sun dresses are pretty popular right now.

What is your favorite brand/designer? What do you like about that brand?

One of my favorite brands is Gucci because it is so timeless. Their products feature designs that are incredibly unique and cater to all different kinds of genres, from the classic snake designs to their peppy floral designs.But if you didn’t know, not only is Gucci a hot brand, they have also contributed over $20 million to help children who are disadvantaged, orphaned, or living in extreme poverty to gain access to obtaining a quality education and living a better life. I love Gucci but I love being able to make a difference in the world even more and it’s makes it easier to spend a little more for a product if I know they have a similar mindset.

Which actresses or models do you believe have the best style?

One woman who never ceases to amaze me is Jennifer Lopez, not just because she’s Latina but the woman kills it EVERY TIME. The girl has got it going on. She’s one of the few who can really rock any style and never stays inside her comfort zone. From classy and sensual to striking and dangerous, Jennifer is and always will be one of my favorites.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years and what are your goals?

In five years I see myself as a lead host for a big time entertainment show after accomplishing my dreams in the pageant industry. I love working sports events and hope to work with a sports channel but as a woman who loves putting herself out there, the entertainment biz is definitely where I belong.

What do you like about being Latina?

What I like about being Latina is how natural we are and the charisma, intelligence and beauty that identifies us quickly as Latinas. Because of our roots we carry music inside us which is something very special that makes us unique, we live every moment and enjoy it at the maximum, with our touch of brightness.

What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?

I'm sentimental and strong at the same time. Despite criticism, I am a girl with many feelings but I never let myself get defeated, I believe in me. People would be surprised to know that when I am about to give up I never get to do it because I am strong and I do not let myself be carried away by my weakness.

What are your favorite colors and outfits that make up most of your closet?

Bright and vivid colors. From yellow of happiness to red of passion, all colors have a meaning and those are my favorites because they give me life and strength, although they are just colors they still have a lot to offer because they give you energy.

What trends are big in your city?

The trends in Puerto Rico are short rompers and crop tops with bright colors and floral or fruit prints.

Which actresses or models do you believe have the best style?

Zuleyka Rivera, Natalia Rivera and Francisca Lachapel, have a spectacular style. They use a lot of bright colors which I love, they always shine with their clothes, they offer uniqueness and never rip off other designs and in spite of everything they have achieved I love their humility.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years and what are your goals?

In 5 years I see myself as a public figure in the world of modeling, making the difference of not being just any model, but a queen who demonstrates that there is no reason to be proud if you do not put aside negative experiences, when one comes to success is when one must be the most humble. My goals are to be recognized, to be in the world of show business, to always make a difference, to help others and to be someone big, unique and very inspiring for everyone.

Everyone is always surprised when I share my age or when I tell them that I am a mother.

I LOVE black! Black just makes me feel fierce and edgy. It makes me feel confident and strong.

I love to sing, dance and above everything to give it my all before a camera.

My favorite colors are pink, black, white, light blue and red, and what I love and can not miss in my closet are jumpsuits, they're the easiest thing to put on and the best .

My favorite model is Kate Moss, because I been told I look like her and I love how she poses and what she transmits in each session with her tremendous elegance and strength.

The naturalness, beauty, taste and intelligence that identifies us. We are happier, we enjoy life, we are excellent cooks, entrepreneurs and successful women.

I love colors black, white and beige. Most of the time I use jeans, shorts and sexy blouses. I also use a few dresses.

I love Izabel Goulart, Ariadna Gutiérrez, Ana Jovanović and Camila Coelho.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years and what are your goals?

In 5 years I see myself being a top model of the best catwalks in the world. My goals are having my own line of perfumes and clothes, traveling all over the world and being with my life partner.

There are many things that I love being Latina, one of those things is strength. We are enterprising women who fight for what we want no matter what.

What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?

Sometimes I can sing well, but nobody has ever listened to me.

My favorite colors are neutrals since you can play with colorful clothes and it will never look bad.

Latin/American style.

My favorite designer is Carolina Herrera. What I like about her designs is that they are classic and very glamorous at the same time, she is a great fashion inspiration for me and her origin is from Venezuela, like me.

Claudia Schiffer. She is a German model and designer, also a great inspiration for many models.

Well I love the Latin culture, the people are always happy. It’s a great community where they value the meaning of family. I also love Latin music and the food

What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?

When I really want something I will work so hard in order to get it. I’m a really passionate person, and love what I do. Although I really love modeling and sometimes people only see me as “a model,” I’m also a business person.

Red is my favorite color, and I love dresses. I think a crop top with jeans is always a good combination for day or night.

I’m a big fan of Saint Laurent, I think the brand is really artistic and elegant at the same time

I love all the support from other women like me and I just love the culture overall. It is very beautiful.

What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?

I am a model who has runway and print modeling experience of over 5 years but I am also working towards getting my bachelors degree in chemical engineering and a masters in biomedical engineering.

I really like wine red colored dresses and neutral brown and black colors. But I also love colorful crop tops and shorts.

What trends are big in your city?

Yoga pants and shorts with crop tops.

I love Pac Sun, American Eagle, Guess, and Forever 21. I just like how diverse and affordable these stores are.

In 5 years I would like to be working in a Lab as a chemical and biomedical engineer and also getting to travel around the world for modeling and acting.
