What do you like about being Latina?
Everything about being Latina makes me proud. Our country is known for all its rich history and culture that surrounds us as much as it’s beautiful traditions. The love, the warmth and unity that we have towards each other is something that would distinguish the Latin population and that is shown within our families, the most important social core in our culture. The joy and passion of our society is reflected in the bigger traditions, delicious foods and its various styles of music, within all other things. I love it when someone thinks about the personality of a Latin person, they see us and think of our optimistic qualities, bravery, joy and know that we truly know how to enjoy life and a great party.
What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?
Perhaps you would be surprised to know that I am a little antisocial or that at least I don’t make friends that easily for having very little trust in others for things that have happened in my past, which doesn't mean that it is hard for me to have a conversation with someone new, only including them in my circle of friends would take some time.What are your favorite colors and outfits that make up most of your closet?
I definitely don’t have a favorite color, I love all colors, nevertheless I do have my preferred colors for certain things, for example I love the color gold and rose gold for accessories. For clothing I use reds, yellows, vibrant greens, or even softer and neutral colors like a beige, white, blue and black. I love to play with colors and prints on my outfits, it is something in which I feel that I can express my personality or feelings.
What is your city famous for?
A strong tendency that I personally love, is using layers of necklaces. I feel that it is a beautiful detail, that is delicate but yet striking and can make a simple outfit something more produced and original.
What is your favorite brand/designer? What do you like about that brand?
It is a little difficult to decide, but I think that Versace, Chanel, Gucci and Prada would definitely be my favorite brands, simply because of the creativity, vision and originality that is shown in their designs, colors, prints and textures, those which allow you to enjoy and express your personality through your clothing.
Which actresses or models do you believe have the best style?
Someone that I admire for their style and personality is Leonie Hanne, she is a fashion and travel influencer, I love that she always knows the latest trends in fashion and can adjust it to her style, including that she can make a simple outfit look very good. Another person that inspires me is Negin Mirsalehi who is a model and influencer, I like her style and the range of soft colors that she will often utilize in her look. Lastly, but not less important is fashion blogger Lydia Rose which I love for her creativity and for having the pleasure of sharing thousands of ways on how to use the latest trends and can make each look amazing and different. I love her style and way of putting colors, prints, and textures together, creating outfits for certain occasions.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years and what are your goals?
I don’t know exactly where or what I will be doing in that time, but I do have my goals that I wish I would have accomplished or to at least be in the process of accomplishing them by that time. I would love to do something related to fashion, whether it be opening my own store where I can share my taste, knowledge, and vision for fashion, and continue posting more content on my social media that would inspire the feeling of being involved in the world of fashion. I would also like to travel more with my boyfriend and share our experiences fomenting tourism and show him my support on growing his new YouTube channel. I want to continue getting to know myself, learning from my mistakes so that I can really do what I like and grow as a person, but overall regardless the situation, the years or age…being happy and thankful for life itself.
