What do you like about being Latina?

There are so many things, I feel proud of being Latina and of the mix that makes me who I am, the richness of the Latin culture is unique and full of peculiarities. The warmth that characterizes us and that "taste" that nobody knows how to explain, we keep the rhythm in our blood. No matter where I am, my love for colors, music, traditions, cuisine and landscapes of my island will never change. Being Latina is the ultimate!

What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?

That I am a business woman and very independent, I do a thousand things at once, I can not stand still!

What are your favorite colors and outfits that make up most of your closet?

My favorite color is purple, but in clothing I love earth tones like camel, military green and mustard, they are the most repeated tones in my closet and I always combine them with gold accessories.


What is your favorite brand/designer? What do you like about that brand?

Personally, I'm not guided so much by any designer or brand in particular, but to find clothes that favor me, if I like them and they make me feel comfortable, then is a yes.

Im a fan of Jasmine Sanders and Joyjah Estrada, they have a natural elegance and a lot of style, besides the beautiful vibes that make them even more beautiful.


Where do you see yourself in 5 years and what are your goals?

My goals are to grow my business, and in 5 years ... it is very uncertain, I prefer to be surprised by life!

Yilena Hernadez
Yilena Hernández was born in Holguín, Cuba. Since she was a child she showed a lot of talent in the art of acting; However, at the age of 15 after winning a Beauty contest, she would start her career as a model, in 2009 she packed her suitcases full of dreams and decided to go after them moving to the United States. Her beginnings in a foreign country were a challenge to make her way in the world of fashion but this did not stop her, so she participated in several Beauty contests in which she was Miss international Bikini and because of the resemblance to the doll Barbie began to be recognized for "The Cuban Barbie." Yilena Hernández has been invited as an influencer in catwalks by haute couture designers such as: Tom Ford, Balmain and Roberto Cavalli. This Cuban model has made its way into the world of fashion in an impressive way, being the face of the well-known designer of stars Willfredo Gerardo.
 Yilena has worked as an international model throughout Europe and the United States walking the most important catwalks of the fashion world, such as Paris fashion week, New York fashion week, Milan fashion week, Los Angeles fashion week, and many more. It has been the cover in several prestigious magazines such as Playboy, fhm, maxim, Ellements, latina, Vogue, Elle, cosmopolitan, men's health, life style, jmg. The Cuban Barbie has been invited and working on several television programs, some of which are "Sabado Gigante," "Latin Angels," "Hoy." She recently launched her line of lashes "Yilena Luxury Lashes." As of today, she is working with Willfredo Gerardo  on the creation of a line of bikinis that will be exhibited in the Miami swim week and will create a special line of couture clothing.
Gilda Garza
Gilda Garza is a Mexican artist born in Sinaloa, Mexico. She started to paint as young as she can remember, a generational talent passed down to her from her grandmother. Living in one of the most dangerous places in Mexico, Sinaloa, she was surrounded by war and kidnappings in her family. Her paintings show all of the raw emotions from these impactful events in her life. She believes the best works of art happen when pain and suffering turn into inspiration and creativity.

In a recent interview for Hermosaz, Gilda said, "My secret to break barriers and take my art to another level is to do things from the heart! What I do is my true passion and I do it with all my love, from when I start painting there is no work that does not have a part of my life in it, even when I'm at an event of mine I want those who accompany me to spend it well and make a whole experience, for me it is an honor to accompany me and travel from all over the world to see my works. When I paint, it is a part of me that needs to express itself. My secret is to do everything with the heart."

Miryam Rochin
Miryam Rochin is a Mexican-American digital influencer. She works as a teacher while attending university. Besides dancing, one of her passions is traveling, she has visited over 15 countries. While traveling, she also finds a way to help local communities. In a recent interview, Miryam said, "travel causes you to change your perspective on society and its different cultures." Miryam also holds the title of Miss Grand Arizona 2019, in which her duty as queen is to promote the message of NONVIOLENCE around the state. In August, she will travel to Chicago to Nationals, representing Arizona.

What do you like about being Latina?

Being Latina is extravagance, we like to be seen. Our beauty, our curves, the way we dance, our cuisine. I love that we are recognized everywhere we go and we know how to differentiate ourselves from the rest.

What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?

Something about me ... Well, I am a maniac of order and perfection, it is even annoying for people when I try to order everything to calm my tension.

What are your favorite colors and outfits that make up most of your closet?

The more unique, the better. I never wear a specific style ... In the day, I can dress like a businesswoman, but in the afternoon I can change and put on my best leather jacket and high boots. I love neon colors (super trendy this season), but I will never stop loving the classic black, white and nude.


What is your favorite brand/designer? What do you like about that brand?

My favorite brands are Bershka, Zara and Pull & Bear, despite being some stores that do not have as much recognition worldwide for being accessible... Here in Venezuela, those stores are some of the most expensive and best clothes in terms of quality and style. I LOVE  everything about those stores.

Which actresses or models do you believe have the best style?

Lily Collins, Kylie Jenner, Dua Lipa, Emily Ratajkowski.


Where do you see yourself in 5 years and what are your goals?

In 5 years, I would love to see myself in Europe, with my advertising agency and modeling academy. Traveling the world modeling and doing what I love. No children yet and being a successful businesswoman.

The passion with which we live life, the joy and energy. I like the way we involve ourselves in new projects and work hard to turn them into reality. Always with a positive attitude. In addition, the flavor and authenticity of Latinos is unique. 

What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?

If I could choose in what era to live, I would have chosen the 70's. That vibe, hippie, relaxed, full of music and colors, would have loved to live it.

What are your favorite colors and outfits that make up most of your closet?

For my work I tend to use white and black. I love denim, bodys, sneakers, and classic outfits.

Recently, I started to see Dolce & Gabbana fashion shows and I was surprised. I think it's definitely a brand with personality and great  style, which I love.
