What do you like about being Latina?

There are many things that I love being Latina, one of those things is strength. We are enterprising women who fight for what we want no matter what.




What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?
Sometimes I can sing well, but nobody has ever listened to me.
What are your favorite colors and outfits that make up most of your closet?

My favorite colors are neutrals since you can play with colorful clothes and it will never look bad.

What trends are big in your city?

Latin/American style.

What is your favorite brand/designer? What do you like about that brand?

My favorite designer is Carolina Herrera. What I like about her designs is that they are classic and very glamorous at the same time, she is a great fashion inspiration for me and her origin is from Venezuela, like me.

Claudia Schiffer. She is a German model and designer, also a great inspiration for many models.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years and what are your goals?

I see myself modeling all over the world, my goal is to be a great model and entrepreneur. A girl who changed expectations and the world.

What do you like about being Latina?

Well I love the Latin culture, the people are always happy. It’s a great community where they value the meaning of family. I also love Latin music and the food

What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?

When I really want something I will work so hard in order to get it. I’m a really passionate person, and love what I do. Although I really love modeling and sometimes people only see me as “a model,” I’m also a business person.


What are your favorite colors and outfits that make up most of your closet?

Red is my favorite color, and I love dresses. I think a crop top with jeans is always a good combination for day or night.

What is your favorite brand/designer? What do you like about that brand?

I’m a big fan of Saint Laurent, I think the brand is really artistic and elegant at the same time

I really love Candice Swanepoel, I feel that she has a natural beauty that nobody has.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years and what are your goals?

Hopefully married with the right person that has the same ambitions as me and with children of course . Moreover I want to have a successful career and for my business to have tremendous growth.

What do you like about being Latina?

I love all the support from other women like me and I just love the culture overall. It is very beautiful.

What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?
I am a model who has runway and print modeling experience of over 5 years but I am also working towards getting my bachelors degree in chemical engineering and a masters in biomedical engineering.


What are your favorite colors and outfits that make up most of your closet?

I really like wine red colored dresses and neutral brown and black colors. But I also love colorful crop tops and shorts.

What trends are big in your city?

Yoga pants and shorts with crop tops.

What is your favorite brand/designer? What do you like about that brand?

I love Pac Sun, American Eagle, Guess, and Forever 21. I just like how diverse and affordable these stores are.

Gigi Hadid is so gorgeous and Selena Gomez is a beautful women from the inside and out.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years and what are your goals?

In 5 years I would like to be working in a Lab as a chemical and biomedical engineer and also getting to travel around the world for modeling and acting.

I am an introvert person, I play the piano and love math.

Classics, basics and elegant clothes. For colors I have a little bit of all.

What do you like about being Latina?

Latina women have overcome many adversities and have faced a number of obstacles, but we've still managed to maintain a positive and vibrant outlook on life full of gratitude and resilience. That's what I love the most about being Latina.

What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?
.I think what most people would be surprised to learn about me is that I truly enjoy giving back to my community, I’m also passionate about a number of causes. I religiously volunteer every Thanksgiving with God’s Love We Deliver and The Birthday Party Project. I also am the founder of my own non-profit organization called the Everyday Counts Foundation. My family and I began the organization in honor of my mother who passed away from duodenal cancer in 2013. You can read more about our organization here.Lastly, after catching up with an old friend who thought I was “bougie” simply based off my pictures I think people would be surprised to know that I can be very down to earth. I’ve worked very hard in my 22 years of life and every single “luxury” item I own I’ve worked hard for myself, or had a great “hook up” haha!


What are your favorite colors and outfits that make up most of your closet?

Black is definitely the signature color of New York, and as a true New Yorker my closet is filled with endless amounts of black colored clothing and accessories However, I also LOVE bright colors and prints I guess it’s the Caribbean girl in me. I love to color block and bold jewel tone colors and fun floral prints are my fave. Especially in the winter I like to mix textures and fabrics!

What trends are big in your city?

I live in the New York so as you could imagine trends are constantly changing, it’s so hard to keep up!! I really get a lot of inspiration from simply riding the subway and seeing who’s wearing what in what borough, I truly see some fabulous outfits on the train. I’m from the Bronx (the best borough in NY, not up for argument) haha! I think street style urban-wear is huge here also mixing luxury brands with more affordable brands.

What is your favorite brand/designer? What do you like about that brand?

Oscar de la Renta, Carolina Herrera, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Stella McCartney and Phillip Lim, are some of my favorite luxury designers and I hope to be able to afford them all one day! These brands are all classics in my book and they make staple pieces that can last a lifetime in your closet.

Which actresses or models do you believe have the best style?

I'm torn between Becky G and JLO! These two Latina beauties manage to be stylish, elegant, alluring and sexy. I also have a weak spot for Cardi B, I appreciate her risks on the red carpet and she manages to wear something we wouldn't expect. Keep us guessing!

Where do you see yourself in 5 years and what are your goals?

In five years I see myself having graduated with my Bachelor's degree and working in the fashion industry. Ideally as an Account Executive or for a magazine publication, I'd love for my blog to reach as many people as possible. I want to continue advocating for as many causes as possible and to overall wake up everyday as a happy individual loving what I do!

What do you like about being Latina?

I love our essence as we are strong, independent and bold women. We’re capable of so many wonderful things and I think that’s why we’re inspiring so much to others right now.

What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?
I’m a really sensitive person, and I get affected by things a lot more than people think sometimes.

I think my favorites colors are white, nude soft pink and coral. I always love to add something pink to my outfit!

My favorite brand designer is Carolina Herrera, I think she perfectly combines sophistication and elegance in all of her designs. Also she’s a strong Venezuelan female role model for me!

What do you like about being Latina?

I love that as Latina women, we never give up, we are hard workers and we are good at multitasking. In addition, our diverse backgrounds and multiculturalism, allow us to adapt easily and fit in anywhere.

What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?
I don't like chocolate.

I really love all colors, and I try to push myself to try different colors and styles, but if you want to play it safe, you can never go wrong with black, gray, or white.

In my city, most people dress up really casual. In Washington D.C., you can find a lot more variety. Both elegant & trendy items.

I have a lot of favorite brands and designers but I usually wear Zara, I love their European style and their products are really affordable.

What do you like about being Latina?

I love everything about being Latina, but the thing I love the most is how we pursue the things we wish for! If we want something we work hard to make it happen. We are passionate and we love and feel so deeply that it just feels magical, Latina's are really something else. So damn beautiful on the outside but most importantly on the inside.

What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?
 

Most people think that I'm a “daddy's girl” because they think I have the “perfect life” but I'm proud to say that I fight for what I want and I get things on my own. Sometimes I struggle a lot but the magic happens when you stand up against obstacles in life.


What are your favorite colors and outfits that make up most of your closet?

I would say that it depends on my mood, I personally think that you can really express yourself with your outfit. White and denim is my favorite combo with a good pair of shoes. I’m more of a basic outfit type of girl with a touch of a little something that will make a difference.

What trends are big in your city?

Floral shirts, polka dots, denim skirts and crazy shoes.

I get this question a lot and to be honest I don't have an answer. I just take it one day at a time because I know God has the right path for me. I have a lot of goals but one of the most important ones is to inspire young girls and guys that anything is possible and that if you can dream it you can do it!
