What do you like about being Latina?

I love being Latina because I am SPICY!! I feel that Latina’s have this fire and passion that is so powerful and unique. I also love living in a place where I can express myself and embrace my latin culture while being among other cultures. I enjoy being different! I love the food, speaking Spanish, dancing salsa, and having curves 

What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?
I am a Spongebob Square Pants super fan 
What are your favorite colors and outfits that make up most of your closet?

My favorite color is yellow and I feel extra Latina when I wear yellow, floral's, pink and red. But most of my closet is black. white and grey- definitely New York influenced!

What trends are big in your city?

I love simplicity and I've never been a big accessories girl but my favorite trend right now has to be the sun glasses coming in all shapes and sizes from over-sized to small and pointy corners.

Which actresses or models do you believe have the best style?

I’m a big Jennifer Lopez fan, she’s always embraced her body and has been a great model for latinas everywhere to rock what they got! I also love Sophia Esperanza on instagram. She’s a vegan healthy lifestyle Latina model who I follow and feel inspired by.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years and what are your goals?

I see myself performing and making music full time! I'm excited to release new songs, I write all of my own music and each song is a true story about my life.

What do you like about being Latina?

I just love how passionate and dedicated Latinos are. But I mostly love our language and how our culture is so rich in so many ways ... I am definitely proud to be Latina

What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?
I am very spontaneous and extroverted ... I make jokes about every little thing, my friend's and my boyfriend actually think I’m very funny lol. I don’t share much of this side on social media.


What are your favorite colors and outfits that make up most of your closet?

My favorite colors are definitely black and white ... I’m a little conservative and just very simple ... my favorite outfit will be just a nice pair of blue jeans , a fresh loose T shirt and a pair of sneakers.

What trends are big in your city?

I am based in Miami so there’s a variety of trends and styles ... definitely fresh and comfy will describe it as it’s perfection.

What is your favorite brand/designer? What do you like about that brand?

My favorite brand is Intermix! So versatile and easy ... I love all the designers and styles! I can go from being very sexy/bold to a very conservative look.

I love Olivia Culpo! She’s fearless when it comes to style ... she could pull off any look and just make it look so good!

Where do you see yourself in 5 years and what are your goals?

In 5 years I definitely see myself as a brand owner along with supporting a cause ... I will love to help Latinos to adapt and find opportunities in the USA ...hopefully married and just enjoying life and traveling all over the world ... I love to explore different cultures and I’m a foodie ! So that will just be the perfect life for me!

That I became a vegetarian 7 years ago.

Green absolutely! But not for clothes. My favorite outfits are over-sized clothes and skirts. I'm a Caribbean girl so I love shorts and fresh dresses.

Short dresses of course! It is so hot!

What do you like about being Latina?

As I get older I learn to love being Latina more and more. When I was younger I hated the fact that I was different than all of my American peers whose families only spoke English. However, now as an adult I love all of the opportunities it gives me. I speak another language, I can understand and empathize with most cultures and their differences, and that I have been raised to love and give all that I have. I think being a mujer Latina means strength, power and love and I don’t think there’s anything more beautiful than that.

What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?
Even though I work in fashion, love clothes, and am a former Wilhelmina model, I think the thing that most surprises people about me is that I used to professionally race cars. To this day, my father and I will travel on weekends to various car races and beat all of the boys. 
What are your favorite colors and outfits that make up most of your closet?

I usually like to keep things simple. I try to match neutral colors with one pop of color to stand out. I would say my closet consists of mostly black/grey/white/tan with the occasional loud print or bright color to add a little bit of life.

What trends are big in your city?

Naturally NYC is known for its all black no matter what season it might be. However, I think lately people are trying to break out of that trend and give a little more color and life to the sidewalks of New York. Walking to my office in Bryant Park, I have been seeing a lot more outstanding prints and pops of colors in most people’s outfits.

What is your favorite brand/designer? What do you like about that brand?

I may be a little biased because I work for headquarters, but lately I’ve really learned to love Michael Kors RTW. Seeing how much work and detail goes into the entire garment making process, I’ve really appreciated the pieces that come out of it. I love brands and designers that focus on fits. I think a piece can be beautiful but if it doesn’t fit the woman like it is supposed to, it isn’t desirable.

Which actresses or models do you believe have the best style?

Kaia Gerber. She comes from an empire of fashion icons and seems to just be continuing that legacy.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years and what are your goals?

I currently run Production for Michael Kors Women’s RTW. I also competed in January for the title of Miss New York USA and finished in the Top 19 and was also awarded Miss Congeniality. I plan to compete again this year as well as for the title of Miss Long Island. I hope that in five years I have accomplished one of my many dreams as either becoming more senior in the fashion corporate field or using the title of Miss New York to start my own business venture.

What do you like about being Latina?

What do I not love about being Latina haha! Latina's are super rich in culture, it is very rare that our elders have not passed down traditions such as recipes, dancing and the importance of big family dinners.

What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?
I know a lot about environmental issues. I am absolutely fascinated about pollution and how a sustainable and ethical lifestyle is very important.


What are your favorite colors and outfits that make up most of your closet?

Being a model, black is certainly one of my favorite wardrobe colors! I have so much black its hard to pick an outfit sometimes because all of my black clothes are hard to tell apart in my closet.

What trends are big in your city?

NYC is definitely big on cool, effortless looks which I love .

What is your favorite brand/designer? What do you like about that brand?

My favorite brand to wear is Zara. It has so many cool unique pieces which are high-end designer inspired which I love!

I love the style of Victoria's Secret model Elsa Holsk. She is very vintage and fierce!

Where do you see yourself in 5 years and what are your goals?

In 5 years I certainly still see myself in the fashion industry. I would love to have retired my parents by then, have my own place, have my own successful business, have made my way onto the big screen and spreading major awareness about the environment!

What do you like about being Latina?

I love being Latina, especially Puerto Rican. I love the climate of my country, the food, the culture, I enjoy every time I say that I am from Puerto Rico wherever I go. Latina's are characterized by our sensuality, our charisma, and we distinguish ourselves by our Latin flavor wherever we tread. I feel extremely fortunate to be born in a Latin country, where the Caribbean woman are not only characterized by their beauty, but for being hard-working, dedicated, self-confident women, capable of leading and excelling in everything we set out to do.

What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?
Well ... One of the things that surprises people the most is when I say "I do not like fruits", and when I say I do not like them, it's NONE of them. On the other hand, one of the things that almost nobody knows about me and are very surprised when I talk about this is that I was diagnosed with "Meningitis" a month and a half after birth. At the time doctors told my family as a consequence I would have brain damage or a learning disability, however, thanks to God I am a healthy person and I have never suffered from any kind of problems or conditions.


What are your favorite colors and outfits that make up most of your closet?

I LOVE pastel colors, white, black and red. I think those are the colors which my wardrobe consists of. For every occasion I find the ideal outfit, but I definitely can not miss my "Little black dress".

What trends are big in your city?

Puerto Rico is a very versatile country, where you can implement your own style. Whether it's jeans, tennis and a visor, a tropical look with a maxi dress or a more elegant and sophisticated outfit, everything depends on the person and their style.

What is your favorite brand/designer? What do you like about that brand?

I honestly do not have a designer or brand as a preference, but if I had to choose one it would definitely be Carolina Herrera, since I love her elegance and the sophisticated and classic look that her pieces show.

Which actresses or models do you believe have the best style?

If we talk about daring and youthful styles I love Olivia Culpo, Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid. But if it's about Elegance, I LOVE the classic and elegant style of Carolina Herrera.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years and what are your goals?

I am currently at a very important stage in my life. I am a candidate for the title of Miss Puerto Rico Petite 2018, one of the most important competitions that praises petite Puerto Rican woman. If I win, God willing, I would create several projects where I could highlight and praise the youth of Puerto Rico. Projects where I can carry a message that everything can be done with effort and dedication and, above all, be able to combine them with one of my great goals in life: "BE A JOURNALIST". In 5 years I am sure that with effort and dedication I will achieve it. I know it's not an easy road but I've always liked the challenges and I'm a faithful believer that the universe does conspire in your favor, as long as your faith is unshakable.

What do you like about being Latina?

What I love about being Latina is the passion that we have, our hot-bloodedness that we are known for. Being a Latina is such an honor because we are passionate about everything in life. You know if a Latino is in your life they are there for you no matter what.

What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?

I don't know how to cook! People expect me to have all these great Mexican recipes but the only thing I know how to make are dinner reservations!

What are your favorite colors and outfits that make up most of your closet?

My favorite color is black because it’s just a classic color, and it goes with every other color. I also love pink and brown. They are colors that are always on trend.

What trends are big in your city?

Jeans! They are everywhere and it doesn’t matter which age or social class you are everyone wears them here! I also see denim more than ever because now you can see the fabric in jackets or even shoes.

What is your favorite brand/designer? What do you like about that brand?

I love Calvin Klein because their clothes are just fabulous! The brand represents my personality a lot, it’s classic with just a touch of trendy. Plus the quality is always the best.

For accessories I love Louis Vuitton, Burberry and D&G.

Which actresses or models do you believe have the best style?

I think Victoria Beckham who is absolutely fabulous and Leighton Meester from Gossip Girl are great examples of who I base my fashion style from. They have this classic look that never goes out of fashion.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years and what are your goals?

In 5 years I see myself as an international fashion blogger, supporting the international global trends, growing my social networks, meeting fashion designers, traveling a lot with my husband and hopefully creating a business focused on fashion.

Everything. The music, art, traditions and our passion for everything we do.

What’s something about you that people would be surprised to know?

I think that all the people that follow me know about my love for the circus, I really want to join one or play an act at least once. It's my dream and I've been practicing aerial silks for 3 years and stills for 1 year.


What are your favorite colors and outfits that make up most of your closet?

Black. It goes with EVERYTHING, also I love red and blue.

I don't really know, I think I'm not the kind of girl that's always in the lookout for them.
